A more manageable move
We carry out a comprehensive pre-move survey, with all your requirements in mind, formulating a plan to ensure all your effects are transported over safely. With so much experience moving delicate and important possessions such great distances, we’re fully versed in creating the securest packaging environments for all sorts of items.
We run through all the details with you during the survey, outlining whether your items will be moved in individual containers, or whether they’ll be part of shared consignments. Whichever way we manage it, you can trust us at Britannia Harrison and Rowley to get it there safely.
Comprehensive removal solutions
If you require a car or other vehicle to be moved overseas as well, we have a range of options available including single or shared container alternatives as well as individual insurance solutions to keep you covered during the move!

Packing service and bar coding
Being the most important aspect of your overseas shipping, we only employ the highest trained removers to pack and wrap your small effects. This way we can ensure they are safe for transportation and will reach you on the other side in exactly the same condition they were packed in.
Large items such as furniture are either export wrapped or crated (using our bespoke crating service) accordingly.
Once your items have been safely wrapped, they will be barcoded so that we can ensure everything reaches you, and nothing is left at the departure address.
Individual and groupage container shipments
If you have a full container, which most removals do, your articles will be loaded outside your house and taken directly to the port for shipment. Alternatively, if your move is not big enough to fill an entire container, your effects will be bought back to our depot and placed into a consolidation warehouse, where they will be stored securely until being loaded along side other loads, ready for groupage shipment.
You will be advised of all these options during your survey and advised of the volume of your effects.
Full containers can take up to 8 weeks to reach your destination and groupage shipments can take up to 12 – 14.

From the moment the team walked into our home to pack up for the move we knew we were in professional hands they worked quickly but were very careful with our belongings and they were very approachable. On the day of the move they arrived on time and loaded the lorry efficiently with care making sure everything was safely stored. On arrival to the new property Ben & Chris worked solidly to make sure all our belongings were unloaded and placed into the correct rooms. We can honestly say this move was the only thing that went through without any stress which is more than can be said for the actual purchase. The whole team from the first telephone call to arrange a quote to the actual move was done with care, commitment and professionalism the whole team were a pleasure to work with we would like to say a big thank you to Ben R, Ben W and Chris D.
